DESCRIPTION: DOB&EEL was asked to help develop a swimming pool and outdoor deck at the back of the house. The site is steeply sloping and the front entry and living spaces of the house are all on the middle level, so we designed a raised pool and deck up at that level. The house backs up to green space and views, so we composed the pool with an infinity edge to the views would remain seamless, mirroring the trees and sky. It will be a dramatic increase to the useable outdoor space of the house.
